It should have been called a ‘freedom passport’

From the start, the term “vaccine passport” should never have been used. It should have been more accurately called “the freedom passport.” A document that offers a citizen the freedom to enter venues like restaurants, sports arenas, movie theatres and on and on. Freedom to be part of society again.

Don’t want to be vaccinated? No problem. You are free to stay home. Nobody will interfere with you there. But if you want to participate in society, then you have to be willing to do the socially responsible thing. If we had been smart about all this, we would now be talking a whole different and saner narrative; however, we allowed the anti-vaxxer, anti-social, anti-community, isolationists to take control of the narrative. Now, we have to live with the sad consequences.
