Due to incorrect information provided by the city, an error appeared in an Oct. 14 story about encampments. A total of 440 housing placements, not 440 individuals as previously stated, representing 990 people, were made between January 2020 and July 2021. As well, there are 1, 390 on Hamilton’s by-name priority list, which involves those who use shelter, outreach and drop-in services.
