The Start of a Family Business

Taking after their father, all three Leggat brothers entered the automobile business. Doug moved next door to Burlington, finding an opportunity to purchase a GM dealership on Brant Street in 1967, and the Leggat Auto Group has since purchased or built 12 dealerships across Hamilton, Burlington, and beyond!

Doug eventually started his own family, and just as their father before them, Doug’s kids, Brian and Leighan, grew up immersed in the automobile business.
