More than 200 local students from four Hamilton schools took to the turf at Tim Hortons Field to learn some basic football skills from a handful of current Tiger-Cats.
The FirstOn the Field Flag Football program, presented by FirstOntario Credit Union, saw Ticats such as Simoni Lawrence, Dylan Wynn and Stavros Katsantonis help students learn the ins and outs of the game in a safe and fun atmosphere.
The free program saw students take to the field in four sessions over two days. Participants also received some football swag to take home.
