Governments aren’t listening

Margaret Shkimba is absolutely right that council needs help from the province and the feds. The problem is the province and the feds hold all the cards, and deal them out as they see fit. Her comment, write to your MPs and MPPs, unfortunately, doesn’t seem to matter. I have written to both levels of government on several occasions, and on several topics. Results — crickets. Nothing from either level. Almost seems like they are under the thumbs of their leaders who don’t care to listen. We get the governments we deserve when voter turnout is so low.
