Does anything go?

I am in Ottawa visiting my daughter and her new baby so just read the Saturday Spec. A letter to the editor titled “Who knew what?” (Dec. 3) really struck home when it asked “what kind of developer would purchase Greenbelt land knowing they can’t build on it?” This in conjunction with watching the Netflix production “Pepsi, where’s my plane” has me wondering whose side our elected politicians are on? I will add one more question. How much money did Mike Harris make after he left office versus before? It’s time we stood up to political manipulation. The younger generation will hopefully be smarter than us. But will it be too late?
