Invest in the homeless

The multi-use trail is beautiful; I enjoy it very much. But I’m disappointed councillors agreed to boost the multi-use trail budget this year. I think all Hamiltonians can agree we’d all take a hall pass this year to instead redirect those funds to homeless and hunger initiatives rather than spend them on beautification enhancements. At a time of multiple city crises, Hamilton council needs to immediately temporarily redirect funds from elective initiates to more important causes (mental health, addiction, homelessness, hunger).
