Survivors speak on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation was marked in Hamilton with survivors of the residential school system sharing their stories at Gage Park. The event was hosted by the Hamilton Regional Indian Centre on Friday. The event continues Saturday with entertainment, family activities and vendors.
Over at McMaster University, a new orange crosswalk was unveiled in conjunction with the day — located at University Avenue and Sterling Street.
